LeBron doesn't deserve the MVP, he's maybe top five in voting but if he were to win based on his play right now compared to guys like Embiid, it would be tantamount to highway robbery. I combined the major advanced metrics - OBPM, DBPM, DWS, OWS, Ortg, Drtg - into one overall score. LeBron would rank last when compared to other contenders. His overall score sits at 21.01. Embiid's is 31.76. Jokic 31.28. Kawhi 24.51. Lillard 25.41. Curry 23.10. Even Giannis, who isn't having his best season but it's still statistically better than LeBron's, is at 23.17. Based on those same metrics, LeBron would rank 3rd worst since Nash won back to back in 05 & 06. Nash is one of those players worse than Bron but he did it on the #1 overall seed which is a big deal when talking MVP. Lakers are currently #3. Kobe in 08 has the worst numbers of all and wasn't even on the #1 seed, Lakers were #3, but that was more a lifetime achievement award, some would even call it a pity MVP as he had yet to win one in his career. LeBron has four already so there's no such luxuries for him. So really, taking team ranking into consideration and disregarding Kobe's award, LeBron would be the least deserving MVP of the last 17 years. But the ESPN talking heads are out here trying to convince everyone that the award is his to lose. I'm almost convinced LeBron and his cronies are paying these reporters under the table to talk him up, it wouldn't surprise me one bit because it makes no sense otherwise.

Coming from a Nuggets fan Embiid has had the best performance from a big man this season but Jokic has had the best offensive performance and carried the most. Embiid dropped 50 doing so extremely efficiently and rebounded and assisted well. Also he dominated on defense with I think 2 blocks and 4 steals. Jokic on the other hand had 50 points and 12 assists so in total he scored or assisted on 81 points which is the most from a center since Wilt. The Nuggets in that game only scored about 30 more points without him and all of those were when he was on the bench, fastbreak, free throws, or Jokic made the pass to an assists so he literally ran the whole offense that game which we haven’t seen in a long time from a player

as a basketball fan who doesn’t always have the time to watch games everyday and relies on content like this, this is better than any platform by far.
