Moses Malone was actually drafted twice just not in the NBA Draft. He was drafted in the ABA and in the ABA Merger Draft. So a super technicality. Although he was drafted in the third round of the ABA draft, so there is that.

When he went undrafted it was not for his lack of skill, but his small stature in the NBA. Recruiters don’t like to give a chance to smaller players, because its a gamble, and they are usually also be a liability on defense, but some of them overcome that. This also shows how far one can go if they keep grinding and never give up, some real mamba mentality right there.
