The Lakers are by far the favorites still there coasting heavy while their 2 stars ease their way through and guys like THC Kuzma and Schroeder get more time to shine just goes to show how well the team is built the Nets have a good chance to get to the finals but if they don't make some trades or get some quality player on the buyout market then they'll be a disappointment Bucks look almost the same they'll have a good chance at the finals but come playoff time they'll have to find a way to play Giannis differently and change the offense a bit so as no to be predictable like the last 2 years

That possession and all the late possessions shows you exactly why giannis won dpoy only because of narrative and writers don’t know basketball. Giannis is a great defender but you will never watch a game where AD doesn’t spend time against the best player. Russ, jokic, Murray, jimmy and bam are the guys AD the 7 footer spend the most time guarding in the run last year. And trust me he does that every single night when it matters most him or maybe occasionally bron will pick up the best player on the floor as a dpoy or any good to great defender should. As a lakers fan who has watched every single game this season, it’s been slightly concerning because they’re so bad at home. Montrezl, Schröder, Caruso, KCP, Markieff, Bron have been great (respective to their roles). Kuzma, Wes Matthews, and AD have been slightly underwhelming and Marc Gasol has been serviceable at best. The biggest concern is AD. He just hasn’t been able to get into a rhythm because Vogel doesn’t call enough plays for him. He needs to be taking at least 20 shots a game. The only thing we hate more than a bad shooter who keeps shooting, is a good shooter who stops shooting. We all had AD to be the next great lakers big man, hopefully he gets out of his slump and develops a killer mentality. They don’t need him to be MVP caliber yet, but the deeper you go into the playoffs, the more your stars need to be able to carry you through some tough games. As of now, the lakers would still not win a playoff series without Bron. AD definitely needs to be the #1 guy on this team for them to be clear cut championship contenders.

Absolute facts. Commentators can make or break a game for me. I love the warriors commentators and always find them more fun to watch (even though last game was bad because of fouls). I was trying to watch one of the heat games (because of Iggy) and just had to turn it off because the commentators were so dull.

@Kenny For Real dpoy and that player guarding the best player(or scorer) has always been separate. we've never really talked about it as much as we have with giannis for the stretch that we have so far. I don't remember rudy gobert guarding a scoring wing or guard at the end of the game, nor do I remember that with marc gasol. I don't remember hearing about Kawhi guarding Joel during his dpoy season. I think it's only being talked about with giannis because of the playoffs. Where jimmy scored 40 and giannis basically said, he does what coach asks. and from that game on.... giannis didn't really guard jimmy and jimmy didn't score 20 for the rest of the series. giannis is a superb help defender. Which is the role that his coach employs him with. Can giannis stay in front of some guards? yes. but what happens if he gets beat? that's right. there's not giannis level defender behind him. so when jrue holiday, pat, and middleton are guarding the scorers...it makes more sense. they are all plus defenders..and giannis is their best help defender. it just makes logical basketball sense, but when hero ball clouds so many fans judgement it makes giannis's statements and film look bad.
